Launch Cocktail of Panama Tourism Expo 2010
The Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), along with the Chamber of Tourism of Panama (CAMTUR) and the support of the Panama Tourism Authority (PTA) introduced to the audience the INTERNATIONAL TOURISM EXPO 2010.
This fair, which will take place on 7 and 8 October 2010, will target airlines, hotel chains, tourism schools, hotels and gastronomy, tourism topics, ISO certification, golf clubs and general recreation, shopping, developers of software for hotels and restaurants, among others.
Besides the two-day fair, participants will take tours to places of tourist interest of the country before and after the event.
“Product development and growth of the tourism sector in our country, the Chamber of Commerce has implemented all aspects necessary for the conclusion of the first version TOURISM EXPO International event through which we want to promote this activity contributes to both our economic development, “said Adolfo Linares, President of the CCIAP.
“With this initiative we support the growth of an industry that increasingly provides more to the Panamanian economy, we are confident that the different actors who are part of the Chamber of Tourism will join in this effort that will offer the advantages of Panama as tourism destination,” said Annette Cardenas, President of the CAMTUR
“The holding of an exhibition related to our tourism will be one more step to create the Panama flag. It’s good that this international event has the support of both chambers, the tourism and trade and industry. It’s also good that wholesalers are coming together to private enterprise and government support to tourism, “said Fernando De Leon, Sub Manager of the Tourism Authority of Panama.
TOURISM EXPO International will enable the principal managers of the tourism industry in Panama and abroad the opportunity to establish business contacts and exchange supply and demand.
The event, bringing together wholesalers, tour operators, travel agencies, hotel chains, cruise lines, national and international, inter alia, ATLAPA Convention Center.
The Directorate of Exhibitions and Events CCCIAP, which will be in charge of the organization, has the experience and EXPO LOGISTICS EXPOCOMER Panama, which guarantees that this will be another successful fair for the sector.
Similarly, the event counts as the main sponsor Mall Albrook Mall of Grupo Los Pueblos.
